I used this dentist while I lived in Heidelberg, and I was grateful to find a competent, English speaking dentist.

I came to Dr. Smith after battling with another dentist in Heidelberg about my need for amoxicillin before appointments due to a rare heart condition that left me shook about trusting dental professionals in Germany.

I have a lot of issues with my teeth, and always have a lot of cavities- and I never faced judgement from anyone on the team.

I can highly recommend their service.

Endlich geht es mir wieder gut, ich bin schmerzfrei, das verdanke ich Dr. Smith. Ich litt unter Kopf-, Nacken-, Schulterschmerzen, Kiefergelenkknacken und Zähneknirschen. Ein sehr freundliches erstes Telefonat und zeitnah bekam ich einen Termin.
Dr. Smith hat mich sehr kompetent und ausführlich befragt und beraten. Ein entsprechender Behandlungsvorschlag wurde mir unterbreitet, mit dem Ziel, wieder schmerzfrei zu werden.
Ich bin jetzt schmerzfrei und sehr glücklich. Dr. Smith kann ich bestens empfehlen, überaus aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr bemüht zu helfen. Ein Lob auch an das freundliche Praxisteam.

Ich war am 9. Januar 2025 in dieser Praxis, weil eine Krone locker war. Es wurde ein Röntgenbild durchgeführt und festgestellt, dass Zahn 15 Karies hat und extrahiert werden muss und Zahn 14 eine neue Krone benötigt.

Am 16. Januar 2025 wurde ich von einem zweiten Kollegen, auch Arzt in dieser Praxis, ebenfalls untersucht und die Notwendigkeit einer Extraktion von Zahn 15 mit Knochenaufbau und Implantat wurde bestätigt.

Ich liess mir am 16. Januar die Röntgenbilder und die Kostenvoranschläge für die Behandlung per E-Mail zusenden und liess mich von einem anderen Zahnarzt beraten, unter anderem weil ich die Rechnungen in dieser Praxis stets überzogen fand.

Der Zahnarzt in der neuen Praxis stellte am selben Röntgenbild eine massive Entzündung im Unterkiefer fest und fragte verwundert ob die vorhergehenden Behandler denn nichts dazu gesagt hätten.
Hatten sie nicht!! Ich hätte beinahe zwei Zähne verloren.

Ich werde die Praxis nicht mehr betreten.

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Smith and his team. My 3 children have all had orthodontic treatment. I had a bad feeling when we went to a locally reccomended orthodontist, so we kept looking. On our first appointment Dr. Smith clearly explained how tongue ties had prevented my boys' jaws from properly developing. Both of them had restricted airways because of this. Had we gone with the local orthodontist their treatment plan would have made things worse as far as jaw alignment and airway. We have been happy to drive about 2 hours each way to see Dr. Smith and his team. Everyone on his staff are kind and helpful. I trust them and feel very comfortable here. Amy especially helped answer a lot of questions initially as we were making a big commitment of time and money. I am 100% certain that the treatment we found here was well worth the extra cost and travel time. Any dental anxiety I previously had has melted away.
My youngest has a very small mouth. Every other dentist has told me she will have trouble, but there is nothing they could do now. Dr. Smith has solutions, and she has started care as well, making great improvement already.
I also transferred my care here even though I was happy with my former dentist. Dr. Smith helped correct some issues I was having that I didn't know were treatable. I know have a much better understanding of how important jaw and facial alignment are. I am very grateful. We are moving, and I am actually sad to leave our dentist office.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Zahnreinigung! Jedes mal ein sehr gutes Ergebnis und keinerlei Schmerzen dabei gefühlt. Bei Zahnreinigungen von meinen vorherigen Ärzten hatte ich oft mit Schmerzen zu tun gehabt. Deshalb bin ich froh, dass ich hier mein Platz für Zahnreinigungen gefunden habe. Doktor Smith vermittelt auch zudem ein Gefühl von Expertise und Erfahrung und generell alle sympathisch dort.

Ich gehe seit fast 2 Jahren zu Dr. Smith. Ich hatte große Probleme mit dem Kiefer und habe deshalb die Behandlung einer Craniomandibulären Dysfunktion mit Schiene durchgeführt. Nach über einem Jahr hatte ich auch eine Vollmundsanierung bekommen. Praktisch alle meine Zähne wurden mit Kronen versehen. Während der gesamten Behandlung wurde ich von allen, angefangen von den Krankenschwestern bis hin zum Arzt, mit größter Aufmerksamkeit und Respekt behandelt. Deshalb kann ich diesen Zahnarzt ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen.

Dr. Smith in Heidelberg, Germany, is a hidden gem for dental care. Since my husband and I moved to Germany, we had been searching for a good dentist before we found Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith and his staff provided a friendly atmosphere which helps when going to the dentist. As to the services, by far, great cleaning (the cleaning specialist did a fantastic job which I have to say was the best cleaning I’ve had so far, even compared to experiences from the U.S.) and meticulous dental treatment. At the last visit, for fillings, the procedure was painless. We find the attention to our dental needs is thorough and informative.

Dr. Smith demonstrated to us why his office is highly rated by patients and showed us they not only want our business, but that they have great a patient-centric service and they seemed to make the extra effort to make sure we were comfortable. We have been pleasantly surprised and after two visits we are happy with our new dentist. Simply, we look forward to our next dental visit.
