If I could give less than 1 star I would.

I had an extremely negative experience with this dentist during the removal of two wisdom teeth, and I feel it is important to share the details to prevent others from going through the same.

The procedure itself was performed with poor technique. Stitches were placed hours after the extraction and not secured properly, allowing air to pass through the gum. I had to return the same day to have the work redone.

Within five days, the extraction site became infected, with redness, swelling, pain, and fever. When I returned to seek care, the dentist did not conduct a proper examination, dismissed my concerns, and offered antibiotics only after I insisted. The interaction demonstrated a lack of professionalism, empathy, and attention to clinical detail.

Further complications followed. One extraction site continued to bleed, and healing remained abnormal. Upon later consultation with my regular dentist, it was discovered that a stitch had been left behind, embedded in the gum and causing persistent inflammation. Additionally, there was a perforation between the oral cavity and sinus, which resulted in chronic sinusitis and food entering the sinus cavity — a highly concerning and avoidable complication.

Due to the severity of these issues, I was forced to seek treatment from another oral surgeon to address the ongoing problems and attempt to restore my health.

In my opinion, the care I received demonstrated a serious lack of surgical competence and patient management. I cannot recommend this dentist under any circumstances.

Ich habe mir zwei Weisheitszähne ziehen lassen und wurde vorher überhaupt nicht richtig darüber aufgeklärt, was noch auf mich zukommen könnte oder welche Folgen das haben kann. Danach hatte ich die schlimmsten zwei Wochen meines Lebens. Mein Gesicht sah so aus, als hätten fünf Männer auf mich eingeschlagen mit blauen und gelben Flecken und einer dicken Beule auf der Wange. Ich sah furchtbar aus und habe nur geweint. Das hat meine Psyche komplett zerstört, und seitdem gehe ich dort nie wieder hin. Ich würde es auch niemandem empfehlen. Ich war bei einem anderen Arzt und der meinte, dass das nicht ‚normal‘ ist so wie ich aussah.

Had over the past 1.5 years 2x wisdom tooth surgeries at this praxis. Can only recommend. The surgeons/doctors are very professional, speak perfect english as well, and the surgeries and local anesthesia was done with care. The clinic is modern, clean and pleasant to be at, and the receptionists are very nice as well.

Unlike usually with doctors in Berlin, I feel here I've actually been taken care of with time and effort, and proper pre- and aftercare as well.

If you need your wisdom teeth removed, I can only recommend this clinic! 😊

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE -
One star given I cannot qualify as 0, this was after receiving the bill for a treatment I should not pay at all given the horror I was submitted to.

I was removing a tooth and getting an implant or this is what I thought. The first doctor, unfortunately I do not remember his name, was a total scam, he recommended me a path of treatment that was not followed at all and the disrespect that the main doctor had to communicate the changes after there was no chance to go back, telling me he spoke to the dentist that referred me without including me in this conversation, after the damage was done; I went home with a provisory that looked like a joke, something so pointless, looked like a piñata toy. My husband and I were speechless at this point.

Nevertheless, I went after to remove the stitches and the steps of the treatment were no clear at all, they were changing everything back and forth and even though I requested to speak to the doctor, as unpleasant as he is, he did not show his face.

It was inserted in me a membrane, that I would clarify later why it was so wrong, but to begin with it gave me an allergy.

I never felt safe in this practice, only the first time, and clearly, looking back now it feels like a scam.

I went to another practice to remove this joke of membrane, that by the way, it should not be inserted in a front tooth treatment, and that’s when they told me, how I was treated, that the tooth was removed without any care at all, was torn off damaging the little bone I had left, it looked like a carnage. Really they were impressed at how bad was it, specially being the tooth that was being treated.

Now, I have to go under several treatments to try and recover my chance of having an ideal place for implantation (if any), more pain, more costs and everything thanks to this mal practice.

I assume I signed this bill, shame it was before, because I would never in my sanity, sign anything with you after what was done.

I will see how to proceed, not because of the money, mainly because of the unnecessary pain and malpractice I was victim of and all the time and energy that this costs to me and my family during this time, my maternity leave.

Next time, if you are not sure of the course of treatment, then DONT TAKE IT.

I am in better hands now, professional people, that makes me feel safe and have been honest since the beginning. Without any allergies and insane membranes that do not reabsorbe and with a provisory that I can live my normal life while in treatment.

Die Zahn-OP dauerte etwas, verlief aber reibungslos. Die Nachbehandlung war dagegen sehr oberflächlich. Es hieß, es dauere 2 bis 3 Tage und dementsprechend gab es nur Tabletten, Leider hatte ich mehr als 2 Wochen Schmerzen und musste imAusland zum Arzt. Dort hat man mich dann umfassend beraten und versorgt. Normalerweise nehme ich keine Medikamente.

I have had 4 separate procedures here (2 wisdom teeth removed that were still inside the jaw bone, a sinus cyst removed that was in the bottom of the sinuses - they had to drill through the bone above my teeth to access it and remove it and a rogue piece of tooth that was left in the gums from a previous dentist years ago). The staff were always super friendly and professional and speaking English was no problem either. The surgeries went well. Some post op issues with the tooth removals were dealt with swiftly and effectively and they were helpful when I contacted them about it and it resolved quickly with their help

I was nervous about the sinus procedure when discussing it which dr sander picked up on and so he then took the time to get out a book of surgical procedures and find mine and show me the diagrams of how it was done. He explained it all to me and allowed me to ask questions and I never felt rushed or that he was irritated by my questions. I really appreciated that because it did help me to feel more relaxed. When I was nervous about the tooth extractions, the staff gave me a stress ball/stuffed toy to squeeze which I appreciated and we also joked about how well used the stuffed toy looked 🤣 the reception staff were always nice too. They are usually busy so you just have to stand and wait until they call you forward and they have always been friendly and helpful with me.

I would go back to Dr. Sanders praxis and I would recommend them too.

Bei mir musste kurzfristig ein Backenzahn entfernt werden, im weiteren Verlauf hat Dr. Sander mich dann mit einem Implantat versorgt. Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Nachbereitung verliefen ausführlich und transparent. Ich bin jetzt, ca. 6 Monate nach der Behandlung super zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Schön ist so eine Behandlung natürlich nie, aber ich fühlte mich jederzeit gut und professionell aufgehoben und versorgt.

Ich habe in den letzten 7 Jahren hier diverse Eingriffe machen lassen und war immer total zu Frieden! Niemand hat Bock auf chirurgische Eingriffe, aber das gesamte Team der Praxis Sander macht einem das so angenehm wie möglich, auch wenn man mal mit einem flachen Puls oder etwas Angst kommt, ist man hier gut aufgehoben.

Ich habe in der Praxis ein Implantat bekommen und kann Herrn Dr. Sander und sein Team nur weiterempfehlen. Von der Terminvergabe über die Aufklärung bis hin zur OP und auch danach, besser hätte es nicht laufen können. Herr Dr. Sander ist freundlich und sehr erfahren, er nimmt einem die Angst und man erlebt die OP schmerzfrei, auch danach hatte ich keinerlei Schmerzen. Auch wenn sich niemand so einen Eingriff wünscht, wenn es sein muss ist man in dieser Praxis sehr gut aufgehoben.

Ich habe im Abstand von etwa 5 Monaten jeweils zwei Weisheitszähne in der Praxis von Dr. Uwe Sander ziehen lassen. In beiden Fällen hat Dr. Dinkelborg die Extraktion durchgeführt. Durch seine sehr freundliche und professionelle Art, war es in beiden Fällen ein sehr angenehmer und schneller Eingriff und das obwohl ich beim zweiten Eingriff eine Entzündung im Zahnfleisch hatte. Die Terminvergabe war ebenfalls sehr einfach und schnell (bei meiner letzten Extraktion konnte ich glücklicherweise sogar noch am selben Tag einen Termin bekommen!). Ich empfehle allen potentiellen Patienten eine Kortisonspritze in Anspruch zu nehmen, da dadurch bei mir äußerlich keinerlei Schwällungen zu erkennen waren.

Bei mir war eine Weisheitszahn-Extraktion erforderlich. Nach einem Aufklärungsgespräch erhielt ich eine Beruhigungstablette und eine Lokalbetäubung. Das Ziehen des Zahns erfolgte in kurzer Zeit (ca. 10 Minuten). Ich hatte im Nachgang weder Wundschmerzen noch eine Schwellung. Nach einigen Tagen wurden die Fäden gezogen, dies dauerte ca. 10 Sekunden und war völlig schmerzfrei.
Ich kann Dr. Sander bedingungslos empfehlen: höflich, pünktlich und ausgesprochen kompetent!
Keiner geht gerne zum Zahnziehen aber wenn es sein muß würde ich diese Praxis wieder aufsuchen.

Ich war hier weil meine Weisheitszähne entfernt werden mussten. Da ich Angstpatientin bin, hab ich mir große Sorgen gemacht. Dazu kamen noch die ganzen Horrorgeschichten von Verwandten usw. Ich hab das der Ärztin gesagt und die beiden, die meine Zähne entfernt haben, waren super freundlich und vorsichtig. Ich durfte sogar Musik hören und die OP verlief sehr schnell und problemlos. Habe überhaupt nichts gespürt. Auch danach waren die Schmerzen absolut nicht schlimm.

I was scared to go after reading other reviews, but my experience was really positive.
Dr Sander was friendly, and did a great job extracting 2 of my wisdom teeth. Really, I would recommend this practice to others and will be going back myself in a month or two for the two teeth on the other side.

I think it’s not the most pleasurable experience to have two teeth pulled out (hence the phrase ‚like pulling teeth‘), but Dr Sander did as good a job as could be hoped for!
