Ive had an amazing time with this dentist office since 2021. But since 2024-5 I’ve noticed the quality in service has gone down significantly and I have left not one but two appointments heavily disappointed.

My first appointments here, and my wisdom teeth removal, went perfectly smooths and I was over the moon with finding a good dentist.

But my two recent last appointments. One was a professional cleaning, where I was not given a mirror to see my brand new clean teeth. Leaving the office to my surprise with the same tar stains still here.. nothing looked clean.

The other was to fix my retainer on the back of my teeth that had popped off on one side, I left with feeling like a giant glob of glue is permanently behind my teeth, even going over it. Going home I realize now I cannot floss anymore on that side of my mouth, due to the amount of glue used. My sleep retainer for my TMJ was difficult to put on and is now painful to wear..

Both these appointments I had a strong feeling that the practitioners had no clue of what I was here for, and how to execute it.

Im very sad to say that I may need to find a new dentist after this :(

I've had a good experience here with 2 dentists. The staff are also nice and speaking English is not problem here.

I seriously recommend to anyone who has a bit of respect for his own health to avoid this practice. Front desk is one of the most incompetent and unprofessional people I have ever encountered and my experience with their dentist was a total tragedy, very little care and constant troubles occurred right after their bad and terrible operations.

The front desk is absolutely incompetent.

They cancel on you the day of appointments constantly. CONSTANTLY. I’ve had a long period of surgeries and procedures for the last three years and they’ve cancelled last minute fairly regularly. Like the morning of. Really bad for people with dental trauma who have to do a lot of mental prep to even get to the dentist.

How is that acceptable? Sometimes they don’t even call! You show up and they tell you at the front desk lmfao???? Incompetence !
You can be better. Maybe have higher standards?

And then they charge you because you need to move an appointment? How is that okay?

3 stars because the dentists have really helped me with my trauma.
I love Dr. Alef and his team and his wife (who also is a dentist there) and I will follow them to the ends of the Earth because they’re incredible at their jobs and have so much patience and empathy.

The front desk has really made this process even more difficult than it needed to be

And guys, don’t waste your time responding to this. MAYBE spend your resources on other things like hiring people who know how to read a file.

Today was my first visit to Urban Dentist as a new patient. I had a consultation with Dr Kim. She was warm, friendly and super professional, explaining everything to me clearly and advising me around next steps. Her colleague and the reception team were also warm and welcoming - highly recommend!

Ich gehe seit Jahren hierher und hatte Behandlungen bei zwei Zahnärzten.
Ich finde das Team sehr kompetent, empathisch und effizient.
Ich habe mir auch die Weisheitszähne von Dr. Alef entfernen lassen, und er hat das unglaublich toll und schnell gemacht.
Zur Zahnreinigung gehe ich zu Herrn Deeb, und er ist auch supernett und macht eine sehr gute Arbeit!

I have been going to The Urban Dentist for a few years now. They offer the best dentist experience there is, from their reception staff, through to the dentists & dentist assistants.
I recently had to have both a lower and upper wisdom tooth removed, Mohammed Alef and his team were so kind, patient and efficient in what could have been a very scary process.
I felt no pain at any point, the removal was un-complicated and I felt my comfort was a main priority throughout the procedure.
I’m so grateful to have dentists like them, I used to be scared of the dentist but I’m not anymore :)

Again another good experience here. Got check up and details explanation about my teeth situation. Then got basic clean up and also the sensitive gum treatment. Not like other clinic which always just X-rays first then just roughly see then ask you for some payment treatment.
