All the dentists can speak English and the dentists are actually seem really nice.

But one thing I still don’t really understand is that I first went there because of tooth pain, and they told me it didn’t look like I had a cavity and that my gums were probably just swollen, so I felt relieved. But the pain kept going for one more month, and when I went back they suddenly said I needed a root canal. Like… couldn’t they have properly checked it from the beginning?

But well, the new dentist I met was really kind, so this part is okay I guess.

I just wish the people working at the reception were a bit nicer. Seriously, they must be insanely good at some other part of the job because so many other reviews also complain about how rude they are and they still work there somehow. No greeting, don’t even look at your face properly, no response, I checked that I had insurance and they still didn’t confirm it, charged me wrong, and instead of apologizing they told me to contact the insurance company myself. Anyways their attitude sucks. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Good experience in the chair, disappointing experience as a patient.

The staff was professional and the treatment itself was fine, but the practice chose to enforce cancellation fees in a situation where I had tried to contact them immediately and resolve the issue in good faith. For a few hundred euros, they lost the trust of someone who was looking for a long-term dentist in Berlin.

Competent clinically, but I would be careful about their administrative policies.

Dr. Kim is a really good dentist. I used to have my teeth cleaned by Norma. She was professional and did an amazing job. Sadly she doesn't do teeth cleanings anymore. The lady who did it today was impatient, rude and insensitive.
By all means I'm never going to have her clean my teeth again.

*it's been days since the cleaning and my teeth still hurt. Not recommended. Unprofessional.

Nachdem mir vor einigen Jahren zwei Implantate gesetzt wurden und ein Weißheitszahn gezogen wurde und ich mit der Behandlung immer sehr zufrieden war, war ich gestern mit meinem Sohn in der Praxis. Es war sein erster Zahnarztbesuch und alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich zu uns, haben sich Zeit genommen, ihm immer alles erklärt. Gerne wieder!

Ich war letztes Jahr dort für eine Behandlung bei Aylin (und Eileen :))
Ich habe mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt, sowohl in der Beratung und dann in der Behandlung. Bin immer noch super glücklich und zufrieden mit meiner (ästhetischen) Behandlung. :)

Avoid Urban Dentist. Went in for a filling and only found out after that they’d started a root canal no explanation, no consent. They completely exploit expats: I wasn’t aware that this work is fully covered by insurance in Germany (it’s not in Australia), and when I asked about costs, they said at their practice it isn’t covered because they use “higher grade” fillings. I even asked what other dentists charge and still got nothing about insurance. Later, after speaking with a local friend and my insurance, I was very surprised.

Asked multiple times for a cost estimate, got nothing, then received a €600+ invoice out of nowhere. Only when I pushed back did they fix it and remove the charges.

Switched to Zahn33 in Friedrichshain and it’s a completely different experience. Front desk speaks English, translates everything from the dentist, and all costs have been clearly covered by my insurance. Always happy going there now.
