Bisher war ich mit meiner Zahnärztin sehr zufrieden. Da aber eine umfangreiche Arbeit anstand, suchte ich einen Zahnarzt mit eigenen Labor. Auf Empfehlung kam zu Berlin Smile und Dr. Thorsten. Die Termine können online vereinbart werden und man wird auch rechtzeitig per SMS erinnert. Guter Service. Die Mitarbeiterinnen am Empfang sind nett und freundlich. Die Erstberatung bei Dr. Thorsten war für mich informativ, umfassend und verständlich, es blieben keine Fragen offen. Neu war für mich, dass er die möglichen Varianten mit dem Labor besprochen und abgestimmt hat. Und dann ging es ganz schnell, nach nur 2 Sitzungen waren 2 obere Schneide- und die Eckzähne und 4 untere Backenzähne verkront. Und die Zahntechnikerin hat eine professionelle Arbeit abgeliefert. Alles passte auf Anhieb. Ich kann deshalb dieses Team nur weiterempfehlen.

I went to Smile Berlin on July 31 for a gum boil and had two X-rays done. The dentist said everything was fine and I had nothing to worry about. However, when I returned to the Philippines and sought a second opinion, my dentist discovered a serious internal tooth problem that required a root canal.

What disappoints me is that despite undergoing X-rays and a consultation, such a basic yet critical issue was not detected. Had I trusted the initial diagnosis, the problem could have worsened and led to further complications. I expected a more thorough and accurate examination, especially from a clinic with a strong reputation.

While the clinic’s service and facilities were good, this experience has shaken my trust in their ability to provide reliable diagnostics.

Ich fühle mich in dieser Praxis richtig gut aufgehoben. Das Team ist immer freundlich, professionell und herzlich, die Atmosphäre ist modern und entspannt. Ich finde es super, dass man an seine Termine erinnert wird, das ist wirklich praktisch. Als ich Anfang des Jahres einen Notfall hatte, wurde mir sofort schnell geholfen, das war wirklich prima. Auch bei der Kontrolle jetzt wieder alles top, kaum Wartezeit, alles sehr professionell und gründlich, aber trotzdem immer mit einem Lächeln. Ich komme wirklich gerne hierher und kann die Praxis nur weiterempfehlen!

Die Behandlung war professionell und das Personal freundlich. Allerdings empfinde ich es als unangemessen, 155 Euro für eine 30-40 minütige Zahnreinigung zu verlangen. Auch wenn meine Zahnzusatzversicherung die Kosten übernimmt, steht der Preis für mich in keinem Verhältnis zur Leistung. Ich werde daher nicht wiederkommen.

1 star only for the doctor being very nice and gentle.
In January I went for a check-up, doctor found (according to him) very small caries which is almost nothing but better to take care of while it's so tiny - everything went smoothly, I was happy about their job. ~2 months later that tooth became super sensitive to any level of pressure. I went to the other dentist recently and have been told that during the treatment of that "very tiny caries" huge amount of my natural tooth was removed so the wall of tooth was left extremely thin - that caused a split of the tooth all the way up to the root canal. Now after this I'll probably need to replace this tooth with implant in very near future, not even mentioning the huge amount of money I paid and will pay for trying to save my natural tooth.
Next time when you need your doctors to take some more money from the patient, maybe recommend to do dental cleaning or something like that instead of destroying their healthy teeth 🫶
